1. Castos Enterprise Podcast Summit

2. Podcast Movement

Podcast Movement’s goal is to bring together and educate active and aspiring podcasters and industry professionals. They want to grow the podcast community and industry as a whole. They host the world’s largest podcast events and conferences that include over 10,000 podcasters from 35 countries. This year goes back to where it all started: Dallas, Texas. The four-day event offers more than 150 sessions for podcasters of all levels, and one of the biggest networking events in the industry. 

3. Independent Podcast Conference

September 8-10, 2022 | Swedesboro, New Jersey | Starts at $199

The Independent Podcasters Conferences originally started as a Facebook group for indie podcasters who live in the aid-Atlantic states. Their goal was to bring podcasters together for meet ups, Google Hangouts, and eventually conferences. After tremendous interest for a podcast exclusive conference in the northeast, Joe Pardo jumped on the opportunity to make it happen. Now it’s a powerful community where you can build friendships and start joint ventures.

4. Hot Docs Podcast Festival

January 25-28, 2022 | Toronto, Canada and virtual | Starts at $84

Hot Docs is Canada’s “annual celebration of audio storytelling.” This year it features exclusive conversations with Samantha Bee, Ira Glass, NPR’s Invisibilia, execs from Acast, Amazon, CBC, Canadaland, Serial Productions Stitcher, WNYC, and more. There’s also the Creators Forum: three days of daytime panels and masterclasses exploring the art and craft of audio storytelling.

5. Africa Podcast Day 2022

Africa Podcast Day is an annual podcasting event that showcases the best podcasting in Africa. 2022’s theme is “Podcasting is Freedom.” The organization works to share African voices and grow the podcasting industry in Africa. 6. VO Atlanta Voiceover Conference

March 31 to April 3, 2022 | Atlanta, Georgia and virtual | Starts at $149

Voiceover Atlanta is a conference specifically for voice actors, agents, producers, and directors. It’s a four-day event that offers learning, networking, and lots of socializing opportunities. There are scheduled and open activities. 2022 is the last year for this voiceover event, so catch it while you can. 

7. Podcast Movement: Evolutions

Evolutions is basically three events in one, each with a heavy focus on the latest innovations and evolutions in the industry and technology. Each event is tailored to your stage in the podcasting industry: Creator, professional podcaster, or industry professional. 

The events happen simultaneously with their own keynote speakers, parties, and networking events, and include a well-rounded offering covering the entire spectrum of podcasting. So you don’t have to pick from a menu of sessions or talks, just attend the event that matches your needs. 

8. Brussels Podcast Festival

This is a Belgian-based festival for podcast enthusiasts and audio professionals from the radio, journalism, and cultural space. This year, the festival is organizing a competition to reward the best native French-speaking Belgian podcasts in several categories

9. Blk Pod Festival

Blk Pod Festival is a two-day conference for black storytellers, creatives, entrepreneurs, and influencers. This is their first-ever in-person event and it offers an impressive 80 sessions and 120 speakers. Their goal is to provide education and relationship building opportunities and experiences. Choose from one of the conference’s four tracks: launch, growth, monetization, and service provider. 

10. The Podcast Show

The Podcast Show is an international podcast conference sponsored by Spotify, Amazon Music, BBC Sounds, Acast, and more.. It’s also the largest podcast-related gathering in Europe. 

The Podcast Show is a two-day event that features over 350 speakers, 100 sessions, and live podcasts presentations from speakers from all over the world. There’s a preview night, pop up stages, networking bars, workshops, feedback sessions from experts, thought leaders, masterclasses, and even special appearances by unannounced guests. 

11. Podfest Expo 2022

Podfest is a community of people who are interested in and passionate about sharing their voice and message with the world through the powerful mediums of audio and video.” Their goal is to unite as many people as possible to grow together.

This is their first live conference since the pandemic started. It’s a three-day event featuring engaging speakers and deep content. You can learn about creation and launch, technology, growth, marketing and monetization, and video/YouTube. The attendees are a tight-knit community, so expect to meet a lot of interesting people. 

12. Podstock 2022

PodStock is hosted by the NPC Podcast Network. You’ll hear from seasoned professionals in the industry, mingle with other podcasters like you, and check out new podcasting gear from top manufacturers and other services. There’s also an after party for relationship building. 

At PodStock, you’ll get education, inspiration, ideas, and access to a family-like community. They’ve even enlisted the help of Kevin O’Leary, businessman and one of the sharks on ABC’s Shark Tank. 

13. Radiodays Europe 2022

Radiodays Europe is more than ten years old. It began as a medium for audio professionals to discuss the challenges that arise from producing content that crosses national borders. Now it’s one of the most popular conferences that attracts professionals from public and private radio, podcasters of all sizes, and audio professionals from a wide variety of industries. In this three-day event, attendees from 62 countries can attend panels, networking events, and workshops. 

14. NAB Show 2022

It’s designed for those striving to drive listeners and engage viewers in larger numbers for greater reach,” they say. “And it’s imagined for those seeking to create uncommon audio and visual experiences.
