Stitcher is another large podcasting directory that works as a search engine and a mobile app. It’s a popular choice among Android listeners meaning listing your podcast on their platform helps you reach people who don’t use Apple products.

Stitcher is unique because it offers some analytical tools to help understand how your podcast is performing. Keep in mind, however, that this data only applies to your show’s performance on Stitcher.

It’s also integrated into more than 50 car models and works in any vehicle equipped with Apple’s CarPlay or Android Auto. According to Edison Research, 64% of podcast consumers have listened to a show in their car!

A Step-By-Step Guide On Submitting A Podcast To Stitcher

1. Verify your podcast meets Stitcher’s requirements

Stitcher’s podcast requirements follow the industry standards. Make sure your show includes:

  1. Podcast cover art has a square, 1:1 ratio in either JPG or PNG format. The specs are at least 1400px by 1400px.
  2. The podcast has a unique title.
  3. The podcast’s RSS feed includes at least one episode.

2. Join Stitcher as a Content Provider

Start by heading to Stitcher.com/content-provider and create a new account. Click ‘Join Now’. Here you are creating a profile that’s specific to content creators to add your podcast’s listing.

If you already have a Stitcher Partner account, you can log in here.
