Cookie Policy
This cookie policy explains how castos.com uses cookies and similar technologies. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer or phone by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and scripts that read a device identifier. We use them to run the site, remember choices, and, if you agree, measure traffic and marketing.
Your choices
CookieYes shows a consent banner on this website. Until you accept analytics or advertising cookies, those storage types are set to denied in Google Consent Mode.
You can change your mind at any time through the CookieYes cookie settings control on the site (often a “Cookie Settings” or similar link in the footer or banner). You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking cookies may stop some features from working.
We do not treat a browser’s Do Not Track signal as a substitute for the CookieYes banner.
What we use
| Name or vendor | Type | Why it is there | When it runs |
|---|---|---|---|
| CookieYes | Necessary | Stores your cookie consent choices | Always, when the banner is enabled |
| Google Tag Manager | Necessary / loader | Loads other tags according to your consent | Always, when GTM is configured |
| Google analytics or ads tags loaded by GTM | Analytics or advertising | Measure visits and campaigns | Only after you accept those categories |
| Drip | Functional / marketing | Email signup forms and tool lead capture | When you submit an email form or a tool that requires email |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Necessary | Bot check on some forms and tools | When those forms load |
| Formspree | Functional | Delivers contact, nonprofit, and feedback form submissions | When you submit those forms |
Browser storage (localStorage or IndexedDB), for example the teleprompter and voice recorder | Functional | Saves a script, settings, or an in-progress recording on your device | When you use that tool |
CookieYes’s own dashboard is the live list of cookies it has detected. If the table above and the banner ever disagree, the banner is the current list.
Google Tag Manager
We load Google Tag Manager after the consent defaults are set. GTM itself is a container. The tags inside it can change as we add or remove marketing tools. Those tags should fire only after you accept the matching CookieYes category.
Email and tools
Blog and tools pages may include a Drip form. Submitting your email sends it to Drip so we can send the requested content and related email. The podcast name generator also sends your email to Drip and sends your topic to a language model through OpenRouter. See the Privacy Policy for that flow.
